GTT Module "IN THE HEART OF BREATHWORK: A FACILITATOR JOURNEY" - 26th-31st August 2024 in Poland


Join us in Poland for an opportunity to dive extra deep into the realms of breathwork. Here’s a chance for a week full of breathwork and learning with the support of and teachings from pioneers in the breathwork industry.

Sitara Blasco and team have worked side by side Stan Grof since the early days and have been teaching and working with Holotropic Breathwork and non-ordinary states of consciousness for up to over 20 years.

This module offers a focused exploration of Holotropic Breathwork facilitation, which is also relevant for accompanying and supporting journeys in other modalities of Expanded States of Consciousness.

Drawing from over two decades of personal experience as a facilitator, Sitara invites participants to explore facilitation skills enriched by practical examples, reflective questions, firsthand anecdotes, and interactive discussions, embodying a journey of continuous learning.

In this module, you will deepen your insight into essential aspects and dynamics of facilitation, such as meaningful interactions, presence, self-awareness, personal growth, and ethics, to improve your facilitation skills.

The module aims to boost facilitation skills for anyone keen on assisting others through transformative experiences, providing a grounded and insightful approach to facilitation

Where: Galiny, Poland

Galiny is a beautifully restored country estate with a palace from the sixteenth century, a nineteenth century Grange, romantic park and more than 300 hectares of forest, meadows, pastures and ponds. 


Topics included:

1. The Journey of Growth: Becoming a facilitator, overcoming challenges, acknowledging mistakes, and using feedback and self-reflection.

2. Insights about the Practice: The importance of presence, support, transference, countertransference, and self-disclosure in HB

3. Integrity and Ethical Considerations.

4. Navigating the Inner Landscape: Strategies for managing difficult situations and triggers as opportunities for growth.

5. The Shared Journey: being a fellow traveler, a connection with the breather that allows mutual growth.

6. Teamwork: The inescapable significance of teamwork in creating safe and effective facilitation.


Meet the team:

Sitara Blasco

Teacher and facilitator

Sitara Blasco is a psychologist from Valencia University, Spain, with master studies in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Integrative Psychology. She has done the Claudio Naranjo SAT program (Enneagram). Her background also includes shamanism, meditation, body-oriented techniques, acting, and therapeutic clown.

She began her training in Holotropic Breathwork in 1998 and was certified in 2002. Since then she has been part of Grof Transpersonal Training teaching staff and has facilitated in workshops and trainings in Mexico, Ireland, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, Austria, Poland, and Spain. Since 2003 she co-organized (with Juanjo Segura) the Spanish GTT program. She works as a psychologist in Alicante. She is particularly interested in teaching facilitating and sitting in expanded states of consciousness under the Holotropic Paradigm.


Juanjo Segura

Facilitator and organiser

Juanjo is trained in Integrative Psychotherapy and in the Claudio Naranjo SAT program (Enneagram). Involved with Zen meditation, he has also taken the breathwork to meditation centers. Juanjo has also worked with families in substance addiction rehabilitation programs for several years. His background includes Mindfulness instructor, body-oriented techniques, and shamanism.

He began his training in Holotropic Breathwork in the year 1999 and was certified in 2002. Since then, he has been part of Grof Transpersonal Training teaching staff and has facilitated the trainings and workshops in Mexico, Ireland, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Croatia, Austria, Poland, and Spain.

From 2003 to 2019, he has been the organizer (with Sitara Blasco) of the Spanish GTT program. He has his practice as a psychotherapist in Alicante and also works Online.


Marc B.Aixalà

Teacher and facilitator

Marc Aixalà is a Telecommunication Engineer, a Licensed Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist with post degree studies in Integrative Psychotherapy, and Strategic Therapy, and is trained in the therapeutic use of Non Ordinary States of Consciousness, and in MDMA assisted-psychotherapy for PTSD. 

He coordinates support services at the International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research and Service (ICEERS) where he provided integration psychotherapy sessions for people in challenging situations after experiences with non-ordinary states of consciousness since 2013. 

Marc works as a psychotherapist in Barcelona, a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator, and a member of the staff for Grof Transpersonal Training. He has facilitated Holotropic Breathwork workshops in Barcelona, Switzerland, Romania, Israel and Slovenia and is conducting research into its therapeutic applications. 

He has also been a Team Leader and Trainer at the Kosmicare psychedelic harm reduction service at the Boom Festival. Marc also offers talks, lectures and trainings about integration and psychedelic psychotherapy.
Marc works as a psychedelic therapist in MDMA and psilocybin clinical trials.
He is the author Psychedelic Integration: Psychotherapy for Non-Ordinary states. (Synergetic Press 2022)Member of Grof Transpersonal Training Staff.


Tomek Kwiecinski

Facilitator and organiser

Tomek started his work with Holotropic Breathwork in 2010 and become certified in 2015. He is founder of Holotropic Poland, very passionate about combining Holotropic Breathwork with traditional deep psychology tools and life coaching. Also involved in traditional shamanic ceremonies and supporting artists on their way. He leaded, facilitated and was apprentice on workshops in Ireland, England, Slovenia, Spain, Czech, Sweden, USA, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, Finland, Columbia, Austria, Norway and Netherlands.

In four- year School of Behavioural Psychotherapy. Finished course "Ketamine and Trauma Treatment". Co-works with Ketamine Clinic in Warsaw, facilitating and integrating sessions for people with depression and PTSD.

From 2019 he is a member of Grot Transpersonal Training Staff. He finished training in Transgenerational Therapy School of Anne Schutzenberger. Also he is a consultant of Polish Psychedelic Society, leads lectures and conduct individual sessions of psychedelic integration.

Organising GTT modules in Poland.

As a participant, he spend about 300 days in several workshops - holotropic, coaching, massage therapy, shamanic, tantric, interpersonal trainings, relationships and business. Privately partner and father of 2 children, loves meditation, nature, art and sports.


Rachela Dobrzańska

Facilitator and organiser

Rachela studied psychology and completed the Grof Transpersonal Training program. Besides being a Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator she also certified as a Trance Dance facilitator. She is passionate about therapy in altered states of consciousness, both as a part of her personal development and as a means of supporting others. Primarily, she works with groups, organizing and facilitating Holotropic Breathwork® workshops since 2017. Her individual work with people focuses mainly on integrative practices. The integration of processes and insights from expanded states of consciousness is a topic that truly captivates her. Holding space for others in transformative processes is a significant part of her life and a way of fulfilling her potential. She loves combining inner journeys with travels far beyond the borders of her own country. She has facilitated and co-organized Holotropic Breathwork® workshops in various locations, including Colombia, Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Georgia. Privately, she is the holotropic mama of 4-year-old Teo.


Ania Pawlowska

Facilitator

A graduate of philosophy and cultural studies. For years she has been interested in transpersonal psychology and internal development, with particular emphasis on working in expanded states of consciousness. In love with holotropic breathing from the first session. It is mainly to this method that she owes her return to fascination with life and other people. At the final stage of the international Grof Transpersonal Training. Professionally involved in film. A graduate of New Horizons, a lover of cats and urban lifestyle.    


Guro Ellingsen

Facilitator

Guro is a certified Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator, and has dedicated herself to a life of growth and inner healing work. She is an experienced traveler within the holotropic realms and other non-ordinary states of consciousness, and passionate about providing safe containers and support for healing and growth.



During the six-day workshop, each participant will experience two sessions of HB as an experiencer, or "breather," and two sessions as a partner, or "sitter."

In addition to the breathwork experiences and the topics covered (described above), the workshop will include art, music, dancing, film, and integration.

You do not need previous Holotropic Breathwork experience to participate in the module. A brief confidential questionnaire is required.
